Farmer Peer-to-Peer Groups

Connecting farmers through shared experience, real learning, and lasting growth

Running a farm today takes more than great crops — it takes business savvy, innovation, and the support of others who understand the challenges. Our Farmer Peer-to-Peer Groups bring together farmers who are ready to grow their businesses and themselves through shared learning and collaboration.

Why Peer-to-Peer Learning Matters

Peer-to-peer learning is one of the most effective ways to grow any business — and agriculture is no different. These groups allow farmers to:

Share great ideas that drive innovation and efficiency

Learn from others' mistakes before making their own

Gain real-time insights to improve decision-making and business performance

The result is a community that helps farmers take smart risks, implement new practices, and find fresh perspectives on familiar problems.

How It Works

Each peer group is designed to build trust, accountability, and collaboration through consistent, meaningful interaction. Trust and value come from consistency. That’s why these groups are designed for farmers who are ready to commit to ongoing participation. Those not able to make that commitment are encouraged to wait until they can take full advantage of the program. When participants of a peer group commit to a willingness to be transparent, and an openness to new perspectives, the impact is powerful.

Group Details

  • 6 members from across PEI
  • A group facilitator
  • 8 virtual meetings (3 hours each)

After the program is complete, groups are encouraged to continue to meet and evolve into self-moderated communities — maintaining the trust and learning that started it all.

What to Expect at Every Session

Each session combines structure with open conversation to encourage authentic connection and real progress. You’ll experience:

Open sharing of challenges and opportunities
