I got into the sea salt business in 2015 after deciding to walk away from the corporate world. I was looking to get into the food industry and found that the world of hand-crafted sea salt was calling my name. We are going into our 8th season and have made some changes to our business model. We are now a social enterprise that donates a portion of our revenue to Islanders Helping Islanders (iHi) for content, programming, and support for mental and emotional health here on PEI. 40% of all retail sales will go to specific programming to help our brothers and sisters right here on the Island.
