Meet our Growers

Prince Edward Island’s organic sector is steeped in diversity. Women and men are equally represented among our growers which is a unique quality in the agricultural sector. We have new, young growers as well as more mature, experienced growers – all working together to provide high quality produce to you, our consumers.

Our farms grow everything from aspargus to zucchini – including beef, poultry and a broad range of value-added products. We have young new entrants and much older, established/ experienced farmers, we have multi generational farms and split operations. We have farmers from Iran, Colorado, the Netherlands, Israel, Connecticut, Ontario and a whole bunch that are home grown. One even came home from Rome!

All of our growers have a strong connection to the land that provides the high quality products we are offering via this service.

Our farms range in size from 1.5 -1700 acres, and each one is profitable – there are very few hobby farmers amongst our ranks (we boast the largest organic greenhouse operation in Atlantic Canada!).

Our products travel all over the globe and service customers right here on the Island.
